Summary: Family friendly, staff goes beyond the call of duty and the amenities were great! Our room had plenty space. The pitfalls were the shower was dripping water and the bathroom does need a little renovating.

Summary: Great resort for families. Kind staff and good service. Historic location. Needs improvement in certain areas: beach needs to be cleaned up in front of the resort - lots of garbage around left by public and the resort isn’t cleaning properly; kids pool, which our kids loved playing in because of the slides, could use a lot more trees around. Way too much cement and large empty unused areas of cement make the area around the pool several degrees hotter and could easily be improved by planting a few more trees; games room need upgrading - old, broken ping pong and foosball tables; restaurant service was inconsistent - sometimes great, other times was not; coffee should be provided in the room every morning and not just the first morning (especially in a country that produces so much coffee). Overall we had a very good visit, largely because the kids had a great time, but could have been made much better with just a little bit more effort.
